I have read over 50 books about the law of attraction including The Secret and even something called The Secret missing from the Secret. LOL. I feel like a little kid trying to find the clue that everyone seems to have. The problem is that attracting things into my life has worked- inconsistently.

I finally stumbled upon a book called the 11 Forgotten Laws revealing the things that were left out in all of these books. It’s not magic by any means, because nothing is, but it works. Trust me, I’m the last person to preach about a law of attraction product or book. As you can see on this site, its devoted simply to discussion and ideas, but this is definitely worth a mention.

Bob Proctor, a key figure in the movie The Secret, is a firm believer that the Secret is incomplete. Bob is not the only one that believes this. I recently attended a conference where Jack Canfield (Chicken Soup for the Soul guy) stated that The Secret is excellent, however, it is just a stepping stone to attracting the life you want.

As such, Bob has come out with 11 concise laws that have been left out of the secret and they are worth checking out.

Well, those are my thoughts on Bob and his great book and here is a great video on someone else who has read the book, listened to the cds. I like this guy because he was a total skeptic..haha.

uummm, the laws of attraction. simple i think; i believe for the purpose of the continuation of species at least – there is only one law in operation. i beleive that one is attracted to another via the imagination of qualities incorporated into oneself and offspring. put simply, one’s inequalities, faults and failures are subconsiously viewed as weakness. these negative feelings and emotions are formed into a basis to seek out improvement. this improvement lends itself to the seeker as development and the inert ability to reproduce positive and improved versions of themselves in their children. in short – opposites can attract

Life. Wow. Its kinda a major shocker. Like wow who would have thought? Schools here to teach us math problems. 2 * 2 is 4. Wow that really helps in life. It sure does in ways like jobs. But when you are finding out about lifes meaning its not the helper youve looked for. Jobs teach you that every one has problems. the lady you just sold that burger to? Yeah shes waiting for news about her fiancee in iraq. What she doesnt know is that he died fighting for peoples rights. She wont know for months. Life is here to give you the problems. If life was perfect and you never stumbled and there wasnt ever a problem then who ever or what ever put us here would have just made us all little barbies with identical perfect pink and blue lives. Ha jokes on them cause barbie? Yeah she wears short skirts and never marries. When was the last time you saw one with a wedding ring? Uh uh. The closes things to a barbie life would be the little plastic dolls life. Thats the closes it gets to being real. Lifes here to give problems

I bet that after reading that speech your like wow whats wrong with her? Isnt life all about being great and perfect and famous and lovley and just all around the best (looking, smart, Whatever,)? Not at all. Barbie is like a everything. A everything is a greatness in all ways and no problems. Barbie is the perfect (ha ha) analogy. Shes great but really how long can you play barbie without giving her some life changing problem? Like 3minutes. Seriously thats the limit. After that give her a problem or your going to go brain dead. Problems give life the nessacry spice.

  4. The law of attraction is easy to understand but hard to put into your life. Its an ongoing process that will include trials in life but if you will embrace the law of attraction, love it and understand it fully, those trials that you went will be fruitful because it will be replaced by success. Success that is brought by the law of attraction. Its “The Secret”.

Why is it that when someone is trying to learn a basic question, there’s always a catch to pay certain amount of money?

Ahh…i see where you are comming from. Because true awnsers are posibly the rarest thing in our little solar system. (followed by good health care) when one is in need of a true awnser the most give a little to get alot. That in short is why. Although there are always free awnsers but they just might not be the awnser to your question. But see they are still the awnser to some ones question.

So, ive been sitting around thinking a bit more about why the awnsers to questions cost money. i think that they do because there is also a need for true awnsers. Somtimes the quality of somthing is based off of how much somthing costs. Thats not always a good mesaurer but somtimes its all you got. So mabey awnsers cost not because people feel the need to make the world a little bit poorer but mabey its because then people will pay attention to what they believe the awnser is. Money plays a role in all lives so mabey they are trying to aply it to everything.

I believe in what the Dalai Lama says he has the truth and nothing but the truth in his mind… keeps things real, and serious, very strong but then gentle god, for tibetans are lucky to have such a wonderful leader… like His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Your all too arrogant (irony, accept it) Your all rightly wrong, where as i am wrongly right, making me rude. Life can only be lived and understood, not described. You must understand the difference between an objective cause and effect, and a subjective existance. And you must understand that Life and love are the exact same thing when in the context of a descriptive text. An existance always has a cause (not to be misinterpreted as purpose) and an effect in the context of energy transport (physical form). You must understand that the definition of the word ‘life’ can only be compared with the definition of the word ‘how’. Any comparison with the definition of the word ‘why’ will be irrelavant. However the definition of the word ‘love’ can only be compared with the definition of the word ‘why’. Any comparison with the definition of the word ‘how’ will be irrelavant. Subjectively speaking, You are where, now is when, Life is how, Love is why. Metaphoricaly speaking, life is a test, Who you are is your result. To live, everyone should be less arrogant and more rude, my writing and your reading of this, is life. Life comes in many forms.
But Love’s dictionary does not overflow, love hopes everything exists, and will exist until everything has existed, it is everything and nothing, a full circle in every possible context. The answer to the question ‘what is the meaning of life’ is inevitably incorrect when described using the context and boundaries of unitized language.

  11. Heres why the “Law of Attraction” works. Without any magic involved what so ever…

    - Confidence

When you focus on a single thing that you desire, money for example, a few things happen. The first and most apparent will be the placebo effect. You instantly have confidence in what you do and start to actively feel better. This can easily lead to job promotions and bonuses. Your first instinct is to blame this on the “The Law of Attraction!”

    - Paranoia

Something seemingly random such as buying a lottery ticket and winning a few dollars will be blamed on this magical law. The balance of good and bad luck in anyone’s life is about 50/50 so every time something positive happens you’ll assume it’s the book. When in reality it’s just a change in perception. You are no longer focusing on the negative and are instead focusing on the positive.

    - Focus

For “The Law of Attraction” to work you have to focus on a single goal, such as money. As soon as you start doing this money will magically fill your bank. This isn’t true of course, in reality you’re hard work and dedication will fill them. Most people don’t realize that they have never really focused on a single goal. When you do this you tend to succeed. That’s why most self help books recommend you choose one goal and focus on how to get that, then set another one. These micro goals will end with you succeeding in your major goal.

  16. Hey Boig

Wrongly right indeed – “Your all too arrogant (irony, accept it)”

It could go something like “*You’re* all too arrogant (irony, accept it)*.*” Maybe then, you too can be rightly right.
