Whether you are a believer, an atheist, an agnostic, or a clever mix of all three, you are welcome! Your point of view can be serious, absurd, even bordering on completely nuts. However, the following two things are essential to this dialogue: respect and an open mind.
Respect: you may defend your opinion and try to prove the falsity of another, but it is forbidden to attack its author directly. Fascism and generalisations are strictly verboten!
An open mind: if you can't handle having your convictions being put into question, this might not be the place for you. For this same reason, a sense of humour is highly recommended! If your beliefs forbid their being made fun of, you might not want to participate in this dialogue.

I belive in God, however one
I belive in God, however one does not belive in religion. the simple reason being, is that religion causes war and disagreement, when in fact we wont know the truth until after we've passed. If religion isnt the cause of war it is soon dragged into it, to make it a holly war and get those religious nuts on the ball.
I think the world would be a better place without religion.
I belive God will understand us without us having to wordship him in some man made building. lol
Think about it, God forgives all, i cant see him forgiving those that blow people up.
Actually, God forgives those
Actually, God forgives those who blow up people only after eternal burn in hell :)
Anyway, I don't think that Bible would show the right track for a civilized person - or any person for that manner - to live. I have 2 simple reasons to say this:
1. Bible was written according to the mental needs of people living 2-3000 years ago, without any knowledge of the world outside that 20-30 square kms they actually lived on. They had no need to know more than what the bible told them, however, if we mean God as the one written in the Bible, the "God created the universe" is not a more logical answer than "a giant turtle is holding the world on it's back". And while civilization evolved, religion is still trying to force this dogma to humanity, while the "servants" of the Holly Lord themselves are full of loathe, anger and fear. The christian religion, as it is today (and probably has always been), is exactly the one of which Jesus told us NOT to follow.
2. The Bible is full of obviously false answers, and, by the way, the old and new testaments indeed show us two totally different images of god - i.e. the god in the old testament is angry and punisher, while the god in the new is peaceful and forgives. I can't believe that an eternal being changes so much (or even changes at all) in only a few hundred years.
